We kindly ask guests to please read through all travel tips to ensure a smooth visit to and from our wedding destination. **Unfortunately, there are no Uber/rideshare apps on the island and most taxis are CASH ONLY. All vendors will accept USD and it is not recommended to exchange for Bahamian Dollars.

Flight

Lynden Pindling International Airport

Passports are required for international entry into the Bahamas. Please be sure your passport's expiration date is not within six months of your travel date, otherwise entry may be denied. Taxis are readily accessible from the airport and a 10-15 minute drive to Lyford Cay and The Island House. Taxi fares will range from $30 - $40 USD depending on the party size and destination. Most taxis are payable in cash only.

Lyford Cay Clubhouse

Wedding weekend events will take place throughout the Lyford Cay Club Grounds, which are a 10 minute drive from the airport. For golf cart rentals, please contact: golf@lyfordcay.com If you plan to rent a car or a golf cart, please remember vehicles drive on the left side of the road in the Bahamas.

The Island House

The Island House is located immediately outside of the Lyford gates and is the closest hotel to the Lyford grounds available to guests. Please contact info@the-island-house and mention the Ramer-Jackson wedding when booking.
