FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

For the wedding day, we’re going black tie with a twist: think shimmer, jewel tones, dramatic details, and main-character energy. For the welcome party in the Marc Bar, cocktail attire with sparkle is encouraged.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Marcus Whitman so everyone can stay close to the celebration. Check the Travel page for booking details.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love your little ones and want them to be part of the celebration. All children are invited to participate as flower kids during the ceremony. We’ll also have kid-centric areas and the hotel makes it easy for families with onsite rooms and cozy spaces — so you can celebrate and still sneak in nap time.

Question

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

At the wedding, yes — from cocktail hour through late-night bites. At the welcome event, signature mocktails and light apps are on us; additional food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Marc Bar.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) in Pasco, about an hour from Walla Walla. It offers more flight options while still being an easy drive. Walla Walla (ALW) is just 10 minutes from the venue with daily flights via Seattle, and Spokane (GEG) and Portland (PDX) are larger airports 3–4 hours away if you prefer.

Question

Is there parking at the hotel?

Answer

Yes! The Marcus Whitman offers complimentary parking for overnight guests and easy access for local visitors.

Question

Why Walla Walla?

Answer

Beyond the amazing food, wine, and cozy charm, we chose Walla Walla for its milder winter weather and generally good driving conditions — the perfect backdrop for a joyful winter celebration.

Question

What’s the weather like in December?

Answer

Walla Walla winters are crisp and chilly — expect 30s–40s. The events are indoors, but bring a warm coat and maybe your favorite statement wrap or jacket.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We’re registered through Zola (right here on this site). Your presence is truly the greatest gift!
