We met on November 10, 2018 when Josh walked into the Uptown Tavern in Carlinville while Sydney was there with friends. We immediately noticed each other but didn't approach each other right away. After some drinks and coaxing, we started talking. He asked Sydney out to dinner, and we had our first kiss right there at the bar. We went out on our first date one week later. From day one, it was obvious that this was something special. Over the next four years and 9 months, our love grew every day. We have spent our lives traveling, making our house a home, and laughing at all the weird things we do. On August 3, 2023, the day was finally here! Josh got down on one knee on the beach on Tybee Island and asked Sydney to marry him. We are excited to spend the rest of our lives laughing and loving each other more and more.
