It seems fitting that Jordan and I first truly connected at the lake—the place that would later become our home. Our paths had crossed briefly during a workout class hosted by a mutual friend. Something must have caught Jordan's eye, because shortly after, he asked our friend to organize a boat day and specifically requested I be invited along. A sunny afternoon on the water, we took turns surfing behind the boat with friends as something special began to take shape between us. The easy conversation, shared smiles, and the pure joy of being on the water together marked the beginning of our story. Looking back, it feels like the lake was always meant to be our place—where we first met and where we've since created countless memories together. And now, as we prepare to begin this new chapter of our lives, we couldn't imagine a more perfect backdrop to our beginning.
