Gateway Arch National Park

Go see the "Gateway to the West" for yourself! If you're feeling brave, you can take a ride to the top and see amazing views of the city, or admire it from the security of the ground.

Forest Park

Beautiful St. Louis park, designed by the same guy who designed Central Park in New York City! Inside the park you can find the art museum, zoo and history museum (all of which are FREE)!

Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery

The infamous Anheuser Busch brewery is a must see STL attraction and is located in Soulard (the neighborhood where we live)!

Soulard

This is the neighborhood where we live! It is rich in French history and has lots of unique architecture. We recommend walking around and admiring all the cool houses and make your way to the Soulard farmers market! It operates daily (closed Sun-Monday). There are also many bars and lots of good food to explore in this area! It is also walkable to the Anheuser Busch brewery.

Lafayette Square

Lafayette square has some of the most beautiful architecture you can find in the city! This neighborhood is filled with colorful antique row-homes. There is also park within this neighborhood (where we got engaged)! One of our favorite things to do is grab a coffee and walk around the neighborhood/park to admire the architecture- it is truly amazing! This is also the neighborhood where the wedding reception will take place. See below for some of our favorite food/drink in this area!

Square One Brewery & Distillery

This brewery is just across the street from the wedding reception venue in Lafayette square! Perfect place for a little pre-game prior to the start of the reception

Polite Society Restaurant and Bar

One of our favorites! Perfect place for brunch, dinner or a cocktail! This is located in Lafayette square and is across the street from the reception venue in case you need a place to chill prior to the reception :)

Venice Café

This is a quirky and eclectic bar that also plays live music! This place is a St. Louis gem and you won't find anything like it! This is walkable from Soulard neighborhood if you happen to be there

Cherokee Street

A historic street with lots of good food, quirky shops, record stores and more! Also famous for their authentic Mexican food in this area! Recommendations: STL Rocks- a rock/crystal shop with lots of fun home decor Mudhouse- coffeeshop/yummy breakfast spot! 'Ssippi- adorable wine bar (may get lucky with the weather and be able to do the patio) Saturn lounge- yummy cocktails!

The Hill

This is considered the Italian neighborhood of St. Louis. Here you can find lots of delicious, authentic Italian food! Recommendations: Gioas Deli- Hot salami sandwiches Missouri Baking Co- (Joey's old job) You must try the cannoli's! Mama's on the Hill Shaw's coffee Anthoninos Taverna Gelato di Riso

Tower Grove Park

Can you tell we love our parks?? This is yet another of our favorites and it is absolutely gorgeous during the changing of the seasons. The park is filled with colorful gazebos, great place to take a nice stroll. Located in Tower Grove neighborhood

Missouri Botanical Garden

City Museum

Pretty much a giant playground for kids/adults... Need I say more? We recommend going in the evening to avoid children ;)

City Foundry STL

Large food hall featuring many local vendors with a great variety of food options! They also have fun activities such as mini golf, movie theatre and places to shop!

Manileño

A new favorite of ours. This place is a Filipino restaurant and bakery that has the most AMAZING and super unique pastries and coffee! They also serve lunch. This is located in Tower Grove neighborhood

Peacemaker Lobster & Crab

If you're looking for some amazing seafood, Peacemakers has one of the best Lobster Rolls we've ever had! The fresh oysters are also a must-try! This is located in Soulard, around the corner from our apartment (yes we eat here way too often)

The Shaved Duck Smokehouse

Phenomenal barbecue and southern food with local craft beers!

Blues City Deli

This is a famous and historic St. Louis Deli located between Benton Park and Soulard area! Their sandwiches are to die for!

The Gramophone

Yet another St. Louis sandwich joint but seriously all of these sandwiches are top tier and they have so many choices! They also do live music here :) This is located in The Grove.

The Bellwether

We frequent here often! One of our favorites here in STL. Amazing food, cocktails and desserts! They also do a brunch on the weekends :)

Idol Wolf at 21c St. Louis

One of our favorites! This restaurant has amazing Spanish tapas and wonderful cocktails! Although the plates are smaller, its a great place to go with a group so you can try many different plates! It runs a little on the pricier side but is absolutely worth every penny! It is located in the first floor of the 21c hotel downtown and has a rotating exhibitions of contemporary art on the levels above the the restaurant that you must check out! Truly a cool experience

Grace Meat + Three

If you're looking for a taste of some southern cooking, look no further! Grace Meat has some of the best fried chicken in the city!

Mac's Local Eats

Our favorite burgers in STL! You have to try the "red hot riplet" fries!

Sydney and Joey's favorite breakfast spot! Southwest inspired breakfast/lunch (you must try the tots)!

This is a little local joint with awesome breakfast sandwhiches! One of our favs!

Baked & Boiled Bagels

This is an adorable NYC style bagel shop located in Soulard! They have THE BEST bagels! This is located in Soulard area.

Telva at The Ridge

This place has become a new favorite breakfast spot! Bosnian cuisine with delicious pastries/ deserts and coffee. The turkish eggs are to die for.... and none of the pastries disappoint. A bit further of a drive, located in Webster Groves area

Press Pizza and Pasta

Stuffed pizzas, fresh homemade pasta and draft cocktails! This place is so delicious and so unique! Located between Soulard and Fox Park area

Sump Coffee

Some of the best coffee in St. Louis!! This place has a really cool grungy vibe too, you gotta check it out!

Protagonist Cafe

A literary coffee shop located in the heart of Soulard! Great coffee/tea and pastries! If you happen to be over here on the weekend it is right next to the famous Soulard farmers market!

Northwest Coffee Roasting

Really awesome coffee and they have indoor/outdoor seating that is suitable for all seasons! This is located in Midtown (close to St. Louis University)

Fiddlehead Fern Cafe

This is the perfect spot to grab a little coffee and pastry! Located in Tower Grove area

Little Fox

Great place for shareable plates and cocktails or a full dinner! They also do brunch on the weekends! Located in Fox park neighborhood

Sasha's on Shaw

Cute little wine bar in Shaw/Tower Grove area! They also serve food!

International Tap House, Soulard

This a great bar to hit in Soulard, if you find yourself in the area! Its right next door to Epic Pizza which has awesome pizza in case you're hungry!
