Our dress code is wedding semi-formal/cocktail attire. What does this mean? For masculine outfits we are looking for dress pants, button down shirts and a tie if you're feeling up to it. Feminine attire should be dresses at at least knee length and either flats or heels.

While we love all of your little ones, we are hosting a 21+ event with the exception of our immediate family. We are hoping we're giving family and friends with those who are younger than 21 enough time to arrange childcare for those who need it.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

We are having our wedding the same weekend as Bowling Green's Black Swamp Arts Festival. This means the main road through downtown will be closed and hotels nearby may book quickly. We go to this event every year and highly recommend to check it out Sunday if you're able to!

Yes! However, there will be some walking from the parking lot to our ceremony location via footpath as marked in the map above. While the ceremony will be outdoors, Our reception will be air conditioned and inside!

Answer

Simpson Garden Park is a free, 11-acre botanical and sculpture garden. Our ceremony will take place in the Rotary Amphitheater which has outdoor seating built in. Our reception hall is on the same property. As per the venue policy: there is to be absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING in the building, outside of the building or within the city park property. if you need to smoke, you MUST be out towards the sidewalks along Wintergarden Rd. or Conneaut Ave. The bride and groom thank you for adhering to this policy!
