The Wedding Website of Sydney Kerr and George Brabon
Service can be sparse on the mountain so be sure to save the GPS location or download the directions prior to heading up to the campsite. Directions to the campground: From the intersection of Interstate 5 and Interstate 8 in San Diego, you’d take I8 about 48 miles east to Sunrise Highway (State Route 1). Take Exit 47 and head northeast on Sunrise Highway for 14 miles to downtown Mount Laguna. El Prado is next to Laguna Campground, located about 2 miles north of Mount Laguna, just off Sunrise Highway at Laguna Meadow Road. If you are coming from the town of Julian, head southeast on Route 79 for 18 miles. Campground GPS: 32.88805, -116.45466

Travel Note

El Prado Group Campground

The campground is made up of three well-spaced individual group sites in a peaceful setting adjacent to Laguna Campground. We have reserved Yerba Santa, Buckwheat, and Whitehorn campgrounds within the El Prado group. Each site can accommodate a varying number of guests ranging between 30 to 50 people, and allows a 40-ft. maximum RV length. Please note that parking is very limited so carpooling is encouraged for the environment as well as for the parking. The facility provides drinking water, flush and vault toilets. Note that there are no shower facilities on the campgrounds, but there are coin operated showers at the nearby Laguna Campground! Check out the website for more details!
