Nikki has been around for awhile. She enjoys rolling her eyes at all of Sydney’s sparkles and asking for red when Sydney hands her pink. She loves Sydney more than she’ll ever be able to verbalize and is over the moon that Gaspar and Sydney are tying the knot. Nikki is also a bad-ass Tae Kwon Doe Master with a 4th-degree blackbelt and she was the Puertorican Athlete of the Year in 2011 and 2012.
Samantha Marsillo

Samantha has always thought of Sydney as her (other) little sister she’s always wanted, but she’ll settle for cousins. She shares her love of pink, sparkles, and pretty much everything. Much like they are soul sisters, her husband Mike must be Gaspar’s soul brother. Sam and Mike couldn’t love a couple anymore! She is so excited to celebrate their wedding! Sam was also a Cardinals Cheerleader for many years, and her beauty is equally matched by her smarts. She advocates for women in STEM, and graduated with a Bachelors of Engineering Management focused in Mechanical Engineering.
Alyssa Allen

Alyssa was swept off her feet the moment she met Sydney and realized she wasn’t a cat fishing roommate. Over the years she has thoroughly enjoyed Sydney’s shenanigans in every state they have visited together, especially when Sydney almost killed her and left her for dead in No-Where-Georgia. Sydney’s Spanish always saves the day when they are in a pickle, although Alyssa would probably say the opposite. Alyssa will always travel the distance to be there for Sydney and her wedding is no exception! When Alyssa is not traveling the country and world, she is working hard in a DOD laboratory, with her PhD in Chemistry! So that is Dr. Alyssa to you!

Nicole is Sydney's favorite cousin, according to her! But Sydney loves her and her sister equally!
Megan Einbinder

Megan is one of Sydney’s oldest friends, and I don’t mean her age. Sydney does not remember a life without Megan in it! Megan and Sydney have known each other since they were toddlers, and they couldn’t be more different, but alike in many ways as well! Sydney with her sparkles and Megan with her mud runs. Megan is ecstatic to finally get to see Gaspar and Sydney tie the knot! Megan has always been by Sydney’s side and that is why she could not get married without having Megan standing there next to her as a bridesmaid. When Megan is not all dressed up, she is usually muddy from her Spartan races, which she competes in all over the country!
Leanna Scachetti

Leanna and Sydney became fast friends and even faster partners in crime in high school. Together, they shared many laughs and shenanigans anchoring, reporting and winning awards for DSOA Today! Their friendship has lasted the years and the miles. Leanna can always count on Syd for makeup advice, silly photos, a drink and genuine sisterhood! Leanna lives in Virginia with her boyfriend and many plants where she works as a reporter, enjoying hikes, wineries and reading on her days off! In 2019 Leanna won an Emmy in 2019 for her amazing stories as a News Reporter in Virginia!
Isabella Gonzalez

Isabella is the younger sister Sydney always wished she had! Isabella was four years old when Sydney first met her, so Isabella has no memory of Gaspar without Sydney in it! Sydney watched her grow from a teeny tiny little girl, to a fine young lady. At first Isabella watched Sydney make mozzarella sticks—well, more like blobs…—and now she helps Sydney make them! Isabella is ecstatic that Gaspar and Sydney are getting married. Isabella has waited for this day for SO LONG she can no longer skip down the aisle throwing flowers around as a flower girl, but instead walk down as a bridesmaid!! Isabella can’t wait to be by Sydney’s side as she marrys her brother.
Maura Lapoff

“I am not mean, I just present the harsh reality”, the motto Maura has lived by! Maura is someone you can come too, and will give you her honest and unbiased answer! She loves Sydney and is psyched to see her start the next step in her life with Gaspar. You may think Maura and Sydney are very different personalities and you are right! But they share a love of dogs and speaking their mind. No matter what happens they know that they can always count on each other to be there. Maura also might be working for the NSA, no one is sure, but we do know she is currently earning a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Computational Social Science. She also has her adventurous side where she up and left and moved to Jordan for over 2 years, where she met her now husband!
Jacqui Dugal

Jacqui (they/them) met Sydney at Dreyfoos School of the Arts in the communications building and was in awe of her TV anchor skills and her shoe collection. They became instant dance floor buddies at every party and have been friends ever since. Jacqui is beyond excited for Sydney & Gaspar to get married...finally, since they have been there since the very beginning (helping Nikki, Leanna, and Maura sneak Gaspar into Dreyfoos to see Sydney). Sydney is very proud of Jacqui, she followed her dreams after graduating from USF, they decided to drive to New York City and start a life pursuing a career in dance. Since then, they started the Dugal Dance Project and is involved in a numerous of other companies furthering their creative and artistic career!
Claudia Barreto

Claudia is Gaspar's sister. She met Sydney when she was around 8 years old! Sydney has watched her grow up into a beautiful young lady, who now attends Duke University, in the hopes to become a doctor. Claudia is so excited to officially be able to call Sydney her sister!
