We’re getting married!

Garrett and Sydney met in 2017 after Sydney transferred to UNF. They met at multiple group gatherings where Garrett asked for her number because they were in the same online class at school. What started as a friendship turned into a blossoming relationship quickly. They got to enjoy all the beauties of Jacksonville together while Sydney played softball and Garrett was a student manager for the UNF baseball team. Garrett brought Sydney to his hometown of Orlando and sparked her love for Disney which they enjoy visiting together. They graduated UNF and proceeded to both pursue their Master’s degrees simultaneously. Sydney moved back up to CT but they still were able to make the best of their time together by visiting all the different places that Garrett was working. This past April, Garrett started a job at ESPN in CT and they were finally able to reunite. They found an apartment in Plantsville and began going on adventures across the state and surrounding areas just like before. On July 4th weekend, they went down to Florida and Garrett made reservations at their favorite restaurant right next to a beautiful park in Altamonte Springs they had been walking at since 2019. They were early for their reservation so they took a walk and Garrett asked her to spend the rest of their lives together. She was overjoyed and they are so happy to start the next chapter in their lives while still enjoying all their nature, sporting, and Disney adventures together.
