FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail / semi-formal - suits/slacks and a tie for men, lovely dresses for ladies, dress to impress but be ready for a more casual feel for the reception - there will be a lot of dorky dancing and silly vibes

Question

What would you like for a wedding gift?

Answer

Fred and I desperately want to save for a home, and we also are planning a honeymoon sometime in 2026, for which we would greatly appreciate any funds to help us make that happen. If you prefer to get us something tangible, just let us know and we can give you some other ideas.

Question

Are we doing any specific dances?

Answer

YES - feel free to brush up on your cha cha slide, cupid shuffle, the wobble, soulja boy, and the time warp!

Question

Can I dress casually?

Answer

We'd prefer everyone dress up some just so you can look and feel your best in photos, but after the ceremony feel free to kick off your shoes and take off your ties. We want this to be a very low key and fun!

Question

What food are you serving?

Answer

Buffet style italian - I don't want to spoil the surprise but we will have some great italian classics!

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

There will be some walking in the grass between the ceremony and reception locations (only a couple hundred feet apart at most!) so feel free to wear block heels, sandals, flats, boots, dress shoes, etc but heels are NOT recommended. The barn has a nicely finished concrete floor for dancing!

Question

Is there a seating chart?

Answer

For now, no! If we change our mind, we'll update the website, but for now we encourage everyone to sit with people you know, and introduce yourself to people you don't! We promise our friends, family, and coworkers are all very kind and wonderful people.

Question

By what date should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by Oct. 10th so we can ensure we have enough tables and chairs!

Question

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We respectfully ask that you keep phones put away during the ceremony! We have a wonderful photographer and we really want everyone to enjoy this special experience with us.

For all the days along the way
