What is the dress code?

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The dress code is dressy casual attire.

Are there any colors you'd prefer me to wear?

We encourage you to wear black, but any color is welcome (except white!)

Is the event indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The majority of the party will take place outdoors. It is a grassy area, so please take that into consideration when choosing shoes.

Are children invited?

Absolutely! There will be games and a playground for kids to enjoy.

Can we explore the space?

Dillon Nature Center has walking trails and a gorgeous pond. Feel free to enjoy all that nature has to offer!

Will there be a ceremony and are we invited?

Answer

Since we are already married, we will not be having a ceremony, only a traditional reception. We want to celebrate our marriage with all of our favorite people and party the night away!

What will we have for dinner?

Roy's BBQ is one of Hutchinson's favorite eats. It was also a favorite of John Wayne's and Dean Martin's. Controversial opinion, but it rivals some of the best KC bbq! Vegetarian options will be available

What health and safety measures will be in place?

Answer

Preserving nature is a key theme of Dillon Nature Center. As they say at national parks, "Take only pictures, leave only footprints." Make sure to throw away trash in designated receptacles and no open flame is permitted.
