We’re getting married!!

A love story 5 years in the making, and it’s only just beginning. We are so thrilled to be taking this next step and sharing it with all of our family and friends. We had woken up together on Christmas morning and went straight downstairs to open up our gifts and stockings from eachother. We enjoyed our morning together, just us and the cats. We had planned to go to Devin’s mom and step dad’s for the first half of the day, and then to my parents’ house for the remainder of the day. Once we arrived, his mom had our stockings waiting for us (she gets us stockings every year). At the bottom of my stocking there was a jewelry box. I assumed it was a bracelet or some earrings from her. I opened the box and it was empty. That’s when Devin stood up and I instantly knew what was about to happen. I can honestly say I have never felt more excitement than I did in that moment. He completely surprised me. He chose the most gorgeous ring I have ever seen. He made me the happiest girl on earth that day. We were made for each other. The best things in life are worth the wait. Here’s to forever!
