Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony begins at 2:30pm. We recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so they can get settled before the proceedings.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. We do also recommend no stilettos as the wedding is at a barn and we don't want anybody getting stuck! Our wedding colors are also Olive Martini green/Mauve. Please avoid wearing these colors if possible so you do not clash with the wedding party!

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking pace outdoors. Cocktail hour and the reception will be both indoor and outdoor. We also recommend to dress light as it may be warm, and bring sunscreen and/or bug spray!

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We recommend just taking interstate 75 directly there as it isn't too far off. We will have shuttles between hotels and the venue, but only for 2 specific ones (Best western - Dewitt & Sleep Inn - Dewitt.) So make sure to book those ASAP if you want the shuttles. Otherwise, uber does run out there or we recommend bringing a DD.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes & the parking is FREE! We also allow overnight parking if need be as well. Just please pick your vehicle up by 11am on Sunday.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please let the Bride know immediately at 586-329-9596.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Do you know who we are? DUH! We do still ask you bring cash to tip our wonderful staff serving you all night though.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

No. We will be having an unplugged ceremony. Please shut all phones off/turn them down before entering the ceremony area. We do welcome photos at our reception though, but only ask you post them on social media after when either Bride and Groom have posted.

Question

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

You can either RSVP on the website and shoot me a text if you choose to bring a plus one, or send back the RSVP cards provided in the mail.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

September 1st.

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. We will also have a table holding our honeymoon fund donation, If anybody wishes to contribute to that instead!

Question

Answer

Reception will end at 11:15pm per noise ordinance, there will not be an after party.

Answer

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Zola! Please refer to the registry tab on my wedding website.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! Please let me know prior if any disability is limiting you, so I do not put your table upstairs.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! Everybody is allowed a plus one. It can be a significant other, friend, or family member. Just make sure to RSVP them with you or they will not be welcomed in.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.
