Our story: 
In late July of 2023, a mutual friend (Kassidy Gaylor - who we are so grateful for <3 ) asked us both if we would be interested in connecting with one another. On August 1st, Daniel called Sydney for the first time and for the next 3 weeks, we would spend countless hours on the phone, sacrificing countless hours of sleep, getting to know one another from long distance (with Daniel living in Montgomery, AL and Sydney living in Chattanooga, TN). On August 25th, Daniel drove up to Chattanooga to take Sydney on a proper date and that Sunday, while walking out of church together, Daniel asked Sydney if she would like to meet his family. The following weekend, Daniel drove back up to Chattanooga for a long Labor Day weekend and on August 31st, he asked her to be his girlfriend. For the next 6.5 months, we continued to talk and travel long distance to grow together and on March 14th, 2024, Daniel surprised Sydney in Chattanooga, dropped down on one knee & asked her to marry him :)
