We started off as co-workers at Golds Gym. I was socially awkward and didn’t really know anyone so I stayed in the personal training office for thw first few months. He made it a point to introduce himself and speak to me whenever in to work. I realized how smart he was and we would constantly have intellectual conversations about any and everything. This made me quickly realize how much we were alike and After having numerous conversations we quickly realized how much we were alike but yet so different. After sometime we decided to go on our first date and become boyfriend and girlfriend in 2020. Soom after we became official he told me that he had been crushing on me since he seen me walk in on my first day at Golds Gym.

We then decided in November 2021 to go to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens because we have never been. When we get there and start walking and Damien sees this interesting bridge suggested that we walk down the path that lead there. So we start walking and we get almost to that bridge he saw and there was a long pond with a fountain. I started walking to the bridge Damien saw and then I hear “Sydney” (he never calls me by my name) so I turn around and he is on one knee. He then asked me to marry him. He was so nervous that when he opened the ring box he had it upside down. I said, “yes” and here we are!
