We actually met on Tinder in the summer of 2020. Sydney was very shy and hesitant about meeting up. Cody finally convinced her to let him come get a haircut from her. We continued to talk everyday. A little while later we made plans to meet at the park and just talk. Of course still during covid that was kind of our only option. We talked for about 2 hours before we had to leave. The rest is history. We officially started dating on September 28, 2020.

We were going to Panama City Beach in Florida with Cody's family and friends. Sydney had a small inkling that something was planned but Sydney definitely wasn't sure. The second day we were there Sydney’s parents and sister came down from Gulf Shores, Alabama. We hung out at the beach all day and then went up for dinner. Kenna told Sydney she should wear a dress so they could take pictures together. Everyone decided to go down for pictures. Cody asked Sydney to go walk with him. Sydney originally told him no. We walked for a while down the beach before Cody said we could start walking back. Cody wasn't positive where they were setting it all up for us so under his breath he kept saying "Where is it?". Once Sydney realized and saw what was happening Sydney started to cry (so did Cody). We were so happy to have had our families be a part of it.
