Our love story began back in 2016 at Coastal Carolina University. We first crossed paths at a house party, but it wasn’t until we discovered we were in the same math class that our connection deepened. While CJ excelled in math, Sydney found it a bit more challenging! Luckily, CJ was always there to lend a hand with assignments, and from that point on, the rest is history. After graduation, Sydney moved to Charlotte, but they kept in touch, and there relationship blossomed even further. Eventually, CJ made the leap to Charlotte as well, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. From late-night study sessions to spontaneous adventures, there journey together has been filled with laughter, growth, and endless support. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you!

The proposal was a moment filled with love and joy. On Christmas Day 2023, surrounded by my family, CJ surprised me with a heartfelt gesture. He gifted me a customized blanket that had the words “Will you marry me?” beautifully stitched on it. As I opened the blanket and read the message, my heart soared. In that perfect moment, CJ got down on one knee, asking me to be his forever. With my family cheering us on, I said yes without a moment’s hesitation, overwhelmed with happiness. It was a magical way to celebrate the holidays, and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable beginning to our engagement. We are so excited to start this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you!
