Sydney and Chris went to the same high school — he a senior, she a freshman. Were they friends? No. Did they ever hang out? Again, no. Did they know the other existed? Yes. Fast forward to 2022. Sydney was heading to Aldi for her weekly grocery run. As she walked down the vegetable/sauce aisle, she saw a familiar face. Chris just so happened to be at Aldi for the first time ever. Sydney, having recently moved back home, shared a little too much about her current dating life — #single. Luckily, Chris was quietly taking it all in, as he so often does. Three weeks later, Sydney opened her Instagram DMs to find a message from Chris: “Hey Sydney! Tyler Baltz is getting married in November, and I need a date to his wedding… seeing you the other day made me think of you.” Sydney “would love to.” And the rest, as they say, is history.
