Question

When should we RSVP by?

Answer

If you know you can make it when you receive the invitation, we would love to hear from you then! We do kindly ask that you reply by April 18th as we will be turning off our RSVPs and anyone who did not respond will be marked as not attending. Thank you for understanding and we hope to see you there!

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space in the venue, you may only bring a plus one if your invitation states you and a guest.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The dress code is dressy casual. For this time of year in Michigan, we suggest: Women: Sundresses, lightweight dresses/two-piece sets, and wedges, flats or boots for the outdoor ceremony. Jackets or sweaters may be needed pending the temperature. Men: Lightweight dress shirts (long or short sleeve) with khakis, dress slacks, or jeans, paired with dress shoes or boots. Jackets and ties are optional.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

We ask that all guests arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony starts!

Will the wedding be held indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors weather permitting. The reception will be held primarily indoors, but guests will be able to enjoy the outdoors as well.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar with beer, wine, and different liquors served throughout the night. Unfortunately due to our venue's liquor license, we are not allowed to bring any outside alcohol into the venue.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner that will be buffet style. The buffet will include pulled pork, pulled chicken, sandwich buns, green beans, potatoes, mac n cheese, and dinner rolls. BBQ sauce will be available as well.

Are children allowed?

Answer

If your invite indicates that you have an RSVP for your child, then they are invited. Please refrain from bringing children who are not on your invite. We would truly love to have them all there, but there is limited space in the venue. Thank you for understanding! We also ask that if your child is invited and you plan to bring them, that you keep an eye on your child as the venue has a pond onsite and the owners are not responsible for anything that happens.
