Sydney and Chance knew each other for quite some time prior to their relationship, though they had never really had an actual conversation. The two met through a mutual friend a few years before they ever got to know one another - they were friends on Facebook, so when a few years had passed and they both were at a time of their lives of being single, Chance approached Sydney by commenting a witty (very Chance) comment on a video that was shared on Sydney’s timeline of Dillon Francis on Facebook... turned out they had a mutual love for the funny DJ. Chance talked to Sydney every day in some way, shape, or form after that day - he then decided to ask to hang out together but Sydney was content with her single living life at the moment, so she kept Chance on the back burner... even though she was definitely loving the attention from him. Sydney also knew Chance was younger than her, so she only assumed he wasn’t serious about actually getting to know her (typical boys), so Sydney thought, 'if he really wants to ask me out, he’ll keep trying'... and that’s exactly what he did. A few weeks went by before Sydney finally gave in to Chance and his charm... he had plans of taking her to a very fancy restaurant but decided to get pizza from their now favorite pizza spot, Zio Al’s, instead. The car ride picking up the pizza was filled with constant laughter - no need for dressing up, no need for putting on a first date big show... they were both simply comfortable being around each other making one another laugh.
