We Got Married!

We met on the dating app Hinge at the beginning of 2020, right when the pandemic was starting. We weren't supposed to be going out or meeting new people at that time and there wasn't much to do for a date either. So we ended up meeting in person for the first time at the apartment he was living in with his friend (who is now a good friend to both of us). We watched The Office, ate snacks, and his friend cooked us dinner. By the end of the night, we had made it official and we both knew that this was the person we wanted to be with. After that night, we began spending all of our free time together when we both weren't busy with school. During that time he had moved back into his mom's house where I followed him and I officially moved in with him that summer of 2020. Fun fact: because of the pandemic and everything being closed, our first time going to a restaurant together wasn't until months after we had already started dating. In early 2021, Chad's mom met the love of her life and moved out, offering for us to buy her house from her. The house that Chad and his sisters grew up in. We were incredibly excited at this opportunity and spent the rest of the year doing home renovations to make the house our own. Although we have already completed a lot, the work is never done! We can't forget about our pets! In November of 2020, we adopted our cat Oliver and in March of 2021, we got our puppy, Daisy Mae! The perfect sibling additions to our other two dogs, Cooper and Max, who Chad has had for 7 years. In October of 2021, we went to Bristol Mountain which is where Chad proposed! Since then we have both graduated from college, although Sydney is continuing on to get her master's degree. We both have had so much fun planning our wedding and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you in January!
