Hotel
Cambria Hotel Lake Placid sits right on Paradox Bay and has easy, comfortable rooms close to town. We’ve reserved a hotel block here—just let Sydney know if you find it’s already full. We’d love for our family & friends to stay here. Brenda & Max DeCesare will be there for the weekend for any questions or needs.

The Whiteface Club offers beautiful rental homes just minutes from the lake and village. Sydney and Brad will be staying in one of the homes there for the wedding weekend.

Although we don’t have a hotel block at Lake Placid Lodge, it’s a gorgeous, luxury, lakefront stay for anyone looking to be right on the water. It is located next door to the Whiteface Club & Resort.

A lovely waterfront option on Mirror Lake, Mirror Lake Inn is close to everything in town. We do not have a room block there.
Flight
Depending on where you are coming from, you will likely have a layover to get to Albany. From there, it will be a two hour drive north to Lake Placid. We recommend renting a car.
Flight
Newark (EWR) is the easiest of the NYC-area airports if you plan to drive up, since you can avoid city traffic entirely. From there, you can rent a car and make the four-hour drive north to Lake Placid.
Flight
John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is another option if you plan to drive up, but you will need to navigate city traffic. There’s also a direct flight from JFK to Saranac Lake, which is only about 30 minutes from Lake Placid.
Flight
LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is another option if you plan to drive up, but you should expect to deal with city traffic on your way out. From there, you can rent a car and make the six-hour drive to Lake Placid.
Flight
Plattsburgh International Airport is about an hour from Lake Placid and offers an easy, straightforward drive into town. Just note that most flights into Plattsburgh will include a layover.
Travel Note
The drive from NYC to Lake Placid takes about 5-6 hours and brings you up through Bergen County, New Jersey before heading north. Once you’re past the city traffic, it’s mostly smooth highways and then a beautiful, scenic approach through the Adirondacks.
