Matron of Honor
Chelsey moved in across the street from Sydney in middle school and before they knew it they were best friends. They quickly bonded over their love for Harry Potter, their determination to sneakily eat candy in choir class and navigating the other trials and tribulations of their teenage years. Their friendship is well-documented on embarrassing home-videos, long-lost AIM away messages, and piles of mixed-CDs. After high-school they attended rival universities, but their friendship only grew stronger over the years. The two have celebrated, traveled, laughed, cried, moved 23483 times collectively, through nearly two decades of friendship.
Bridesmaid
Lindsey was Sydney's first-ever friend. In fact, they like to think they were friends since their moms (who have been best friends since High School) were pregnant at the same time. Lindsey, born exactly 42 days before Sydney, relished in being "older" and celebrating the milestone birthdays first. That is, before they turned 30. Lindsey & Sydney have fond memories of taking weekly dance classes together and collecting the "participation sticker" on the soles of their dance shoes.
Bridesmaid
Sydney & Rachel met their Freshman year of college at Western Michigan University when they both joined the sorority Alpha Omicron Pi. Sydney reluctantly attended open-recruitment to support her then-roommate so she wouldn't have to attend it alone. It wasn't long after meeting Rachel that she knew she had found her place at WMU, and within AOII. The pair have built a friendship over phone calls, texts and FaceTimes, as their friendship has spanned three states and at one time two different continents.
Soon-to-Be Sister-In-Law
Rebecca is the sister Sydney never had, but always wanted. She's absolutely hilarious and her & Sydney have a great time teaming up on Bill. He makes it so easy! In all seriousness, shes an incredible aunt to their daughter, Kennedy and a great role-model for her. She's smart and successful and so easy to get along with. Sydney counts on her to keep her in the loop with the latest trends and she's looking forward to making their sisterhood official!
Bridesmaid
Rachael & Sydney met in Kindergarten on the playground of Pattnegill Elementary School. They spent their summers riding roller coasters at Cedar Point, Camping (sometimes just in their back yards), running lemonade stands, returning bottles & cans for spare funds and turning the basement into their own personal rollerskating rink. Rachael has become like family to Sydney and their 25-year friendship has led to more than a handful of great memories, celebrating holidays together and within the last year standing in each other's weddings.
Bridesmaid
Ali didn't know it at the time, but her & Sydney got off on the wrong foot. Sydney misjudged Ali before she got the chance to know her. Shortly after getting assigned to work on an account with Ali she knew she had made a judgement error about someone who would quickly become a life-long friend. Ali saw Sydney through some really tough times and quickly proved herself to be a very selfless friend. Before long, Ali's path took her to South Carolina and most recently Virginia Beach, but their friendship has continued to strengthen and when they get together it picks right up where they left off.
Best Man
Jason and Bill have been friends for almost 20 years. Since meeting in high school, they lived and worked together as well as traveled to other states to see the Tigers and Lions play, planned elaborate golf weekends, fished, and camped. Though Jason moved to Grand Rapids and they don't see each other as often, they still remain in constant contact and are excited to see their many adventures continue now with their families in tow. Bill has always been thankful for Jason's ability to put up with Bill's many quirks, and is excited to see their children grow and become future best friends just as they are.
Groomsman
"Just to warn you, Chris is kind of a lot, but once you warm up to him, you'll like him." Though a fitting caution for most, this fell on deaf ears to Bill as when he did meet Chris, there was no warming period. Bill knew immediately that this loud, obnoxious, and often inappropriate man was exactly the kindred spirit he would want to be around forever. Since then, Bill and Chris have worked together, golfed too many rounds, road-tripped, and held many loud, inane conversations across the softball diamond instead of doing things like paying attention or fielding. Bill's been proud to see this scrappy, young diamond in the rough evolve through the years into a scrappy, older diamond in the rough (and the godfather to his daughter). They're like Batman and Robin, except they're both Batman.

One fifth of the world-renowned Childhood Friends, Bill and Gabe did not like each when they met. Seeing each other as competition for the attention of their friend group, they didn't become close until later in their high school years. From then on, they've gone on roadtrips, had many hangouts, discussed religion, and bonded over the song "Love me I'm a liberal." It meant the world to Bill when Gabe, a pastor, baptized his daughter. He is a great friend, and someone Bill aspires to emulate for his faith and as a father.
Groomsman
One fifth of the world-renowned Childhood Friends, Bill and Ryan have been close friends since sharing all the same classes in high school. Bonding over roadtrips, life's many philosophical questions, and Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You," Bill has always respected Ryan's sage advice, his intellect. and, even if it means driving long distances, his willingness to always be there for his friends. As they say, the Nose knows.
Groomsman
One fifth of the world-renowned Childhood Friends, Bill and Karl met Freshman year of high school. Taking many of the same classes and having alphabetically close last names, they were often seated next to each other and quickly became friends. High school summers were spent hanging out in Karl's basement and going to all the movies. Throughout college, they roadtripped together to visit friends and go on adventures. Bill has always admired Karl's humor, dapper style, and calculated German curmudgeonry.
Groomsman
One fifth of the world-renowned Childhood Friends, Rod and Bill have had a quirky friendship. Eventually going to the same college, Central Michigan, they barely saw each other during their time there, except for the occasional party or roadtrip. Though however much time may pass between seeing each other, theirs is a friendship that picks up wherever it last left off. Bill has always been in awe of Rodney's uncanny ability to be at the same time silly but serious, lazy but driven, and obnoxious but kinder than almost anyone.
