We’re getting married!!

We met at starbucks for tea before Amanda went to work. Then we talked for hours after that.

It was Easter Sunday, we all were at my grandparents house for Easter dinner. We played an adult version of an egg hunt. We put lottery tickets in plastic eggs and hid them outside. Amanda had something up her sleeve, but things didn’t go as planned! She wanted to put an extra egg in the bag that contained my ring box! So instead after the egg hunt while we were scratching off our lottery tickets, she handed me this egg for me to open saying she “found it outside”. I opened it and to my surprise it was my ring box! She got down and asked me to marry her! I said yes!

Here is some back story before I get to how it happened. Sydney called me and told me that one of the doctors at her work gave her Detroit Tigers tickets because he couldn't go and knew she would. I didn't think nothing of it so I was excited to go. The day of the game went like any other day going to the game. We got there kind of early to find parking and get in to get hot dogs and drinks. We took some photos around the big tiger statue. We were finally able to get in the gates. We get our food and drinks and go find our seats. We had seats where we could see the scoreboard really well. During the game I was constantly looking around and that like I normally do. Sydney kept trying to keep my attention towards the game. I didn't know it at the time. While looking around I thought I saw my sister but I shrugged it off because if it was she would have came and said hi. Well it came time for the score board messages and Sydney got excited. One message came on the screen that said "Amanda, Will You Marry Me? Love, Sydney." She then got down on one knee. I was so shocked that I said no at first. I definitely said yes after. Sydney said turn around and my sister and brother in-law where there recording it.
