Extrovert meets introvert. Some might call it a forced friendship as the extrovert (Sydney) forced the introvert (Alec) into being friends whether he liked it or not. Their friendship quickly went from back-and-forth insults to long talks in the parking lot after a swing dance event. She fell for him and rest is history ;)

Alec and Sydney met in 2021 at a dancing venue. Bonding over their shared love of constantly making fun of each other and dancing they quickly became inseparable friends. Constantly flirting without meaning to, all of their shared friends quickly knew what was gonna happen and a year or so later they are right! Engaged and ready to be married!

Sister of the bride, Mackenzie and Sydney have been close since they were kids.
Connor Morton
Best Man
Brother to the groom and groom's current roommate. Connor and Alec share a passion for dancing and fast cars and have been friends for a couple of years.
Ashley Klassen

Ashley and Sydney met about 3 years ago through a mutual friend group. Hitting it off pretty fast, they became close friends and are in each other's weddings falling just a little over 2 months apart.
Benjamin Aho

Alec and Ben met through a mutual friend (at a swing dance event, which is a common theme) and after a few deep conversations in a hot tub, they decided they don't hate each other. Long walks and good talks are a staple with these two.
Johanna Stromberg

Johanna and Sydney met through the same dance group that Alec and Sydney met through. She is now one of Sydney's closest friends and confidantes.

Sean and Alec met at dance and became good friends after they decided to be roommates. Late night laughs and shenanigans cemented what will hopefully be a long lasting friendship.

Emma and Sydney knew each other growing up but became super close when Emma moved to Oregon. Since then they have grown close over text and lots of hours long phonecalls!

Brother to the Groom. Nicholas and Alec met 20 years ago and have had many adventures together. Riding mountain bikes and being debate partners are just some of the many things these two have done together over the years.
Molly Morton

Molly is Alec's sister, and Sydney has had the pleasure of getting to know and becoming friends with her since the beginning of Alec and Sydney's relationship.

Blake and Alec met through the NCFCA speech and debate league that both participated in from middle school all the way through high school. Rival debaters and co-conspirators in crime they have shared many belly laughs late at night when they probably should have been asleep.

Also Alec's sister, Sydney has been able to get to know Rose over the year that she and Alec have been dating, and Sydney is incredibly honored to be both of Roses's and Molly's sister this upcoming June!

Alec and Chase became friends through NCFCA as well. They were debate partners and made many memories as the only guys with light grey suits in a room of black and navy.
