The Domain

Very cool interactive fun in the Domain, good for pictures and if you like ice cream. Make sure to do an appointment

MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM

This is one of the main shopping streets with good restraunts, cafes, bars, and live music all up the street. You can clearly see the capitol and a bridge crossing away from downtown.

South Congress

Capitol of Texas! Right by UT and in the middle of downtown, pretty area to walk around and tour the capitol. Website also includes the other historical buildings in Austin.

Texas Capitol

Austin is home to a large population of Mexican Free Tail bats that live under South Congress Bridge! They come out at night and eat all out mosquitoes and bugs, when they fly out at sunset it’s in a huge cloud and very cool to see.

Bat Watching / Tours

Comedy club owned by Joe Rogan, super fun and always hilarious shows. Right on dirty 6 too for the pregame or after show drinks.

Comedy Mothership

East 6th Street is the more relaxed fun live music portion of the bar streets and a good time. Not as crazy as Rainey or Dirty 6.

East 6th Street

This is the crazy bar area and know for partying. Some of the best comedy clubs are here and the night life you’d expect. Definitely recommend Pour Choices, Buford’s, Greenlight Social, Little Woodrow’s and most of the bars there.

Dirty 6th

One of the main bar streets, very cool area that’s mainly bars that are renovated houses! Definitely recommend if you want more of a crazy night out with a group.
