This is where we went for our first date! Nate tried to pay for the bill and his card got declined. Sydney offered to pay and then her card also got declined. Luckily, we had just enough money on each of our cards to pay for our respective meals!

One World Cafe

Cafe with a lot of vegan options. This is where Syd first met Nate's family!

Carma's Cafe

Great little spot for coffee, soup, sandwiches, lunch and breakfast.

Red Emma's Bookstore Coffeehouse

A classic Goucher alumni bookstore/coffee shop. Check out their site for events!

The Charmery

Nate & Sydney love their ice cream! Sydney used to work at a restaurant down the street.

Our favorite all-you-can-eat Indian lunch buffet! Nate and Syd have been here many, many, times!

The Walters Art Museum

Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar

Located under the Jones Falls Expressway. Stop by on a Sunday between 7:00am and 12:00pm to sample local produce, and coffee, and try some empanadas, Vietnamese food, and local art. We recommend carpooling as parking can get a little tight!

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore

This zoo is tiny, peaceful, and beautiful in the fall!

The Abbey Burger Bistro

For the adventurous or really hungry. The Abbey Burger Bistro has customizable burgers which can include options like bison and duck or crab dip and beans.

Samos Restaurant

Sydney worked at a falafel shop in Baltimore and heard lots of stories about Greektown. Samos in Greektown never fails to disappoint and can satisfy a gyro craving.

Nick's Fish House

When you tell your friends you went to a wedding in Baltimore, they'll ask you if ate crabs and drank a Natty Boh. You can check both those items off the list at Nick's Fish House right on the harbor!

Beautiful at sunset! Sydney's first year teaching was in this neighborhood.

National Aquarium
