Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! Please refer to your invitation. Please be advised that the reception will include music with explicit language.

Can I bring a guest (plus one)?

Answer

No. Please restrict the attendees in your party to those listed on your invitation (plus children if applicable). Please do not bring a friend, partner or plus one unless their name is explicitly stated on your invitation. We wish we could accommodate everyone, but our budget does not allow it. If you have any questions, please call or text Sydney or Victor.

What's the dress code?

Our wedding is casual. Come dressed to impress, but stay comfy. Also, when considering footwear, keep in mind that this is a backyard wedding = GRASS!

Are there hotel blocks for out of town guests?

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes, we will have beer, seltzers and mixed drinks available for anyone who wants them! We will also have spirits available for shots. While partaking in alcoholic beverages, please drink responsibly.

Can we go inside the house?

Answer

The Shands' home will not be open to guests. Please do not enter the home unless given direct permission by either Yvonne or Darryl Shands.

What about when I have to use the bathroom?

Answer

Two porta-potties will be available for use throughout the entire wedding. Please do not enter the Shands' home to use the restroom.
