FAQs

If you have any questions other than those listed below, please reach out to Sydney or Jorge.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire (no denim). Bridesmaids and groomsmen will be wearing different colors and styles of clothing, so no color is necessarily off-limits (except white, of course!). We do encourage guests to embrace color and patterns! When choosing your outfit and shoes, keep in mind that the event will be held outside, weather permitting. The ceremony will be held in a wooded portion of Sage Cottage, and the reception will be on a half-covered porch. Because of this, long dresses could get dirty and stiletto heels could difficult to walk in (these things are not off-limits, just something to keep in mind).

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves (even parents!), we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate with us!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any restrictions, please let us know ASAP.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM, with the reception following after. We ask that you arrive by 3:45 PM.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not currently registered at any particular store. Our registry is embedded in this website under the "Registry" section. Some gifts can be purchased through Zola, by which we will get notified and can choose when and where to receive the gift. Other listed gifts are from third-party websites. If you purchase a gift through a third-party website, we ask that you come back to our Zola website and notify that you bought the gift so we do not get any duplicates!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding small and intimate, we only gave plus-ones in particular situations. If you were not explicitly granted a plus-one, you cannot bring a date.
