We met at our favorite place in Northern Wisconsin, Fort Wilderness! Serving on summer staff the year of 2019, Henry and I became friends, and eventually, pen pals until the following summer. Summer of 2020 we enjoyed spending time together, pursuing our friendship and faith as well as serving those around us. At the end of the summer, we started dating, which led to a long-distance relationship for a year! Soon after, I decided to move closer to Henry, landing in Grand Rapids MI, 40 minutes from where he goes to Hope College in Holland. Henry proposed in December of 2022, much to my surprise! Immediately after we dove into final exams and wedding planning! Following the wedding, we will be living in Holland, MI as Henry finishes up his final year of school and I jump into student teaching in the fall!
