How We Met

2015-- young, reckless, immature. Almost eight years ago, we met through one of our current best friends. It was friendly--a little awkward, but memorable. Memorable for the silliest reasons-- which definitely describes our relationship today. I (Sydnee) remember Brandon being hungry. When Brandon's hungry, you are going to hear about it. After a while, he said, "Yup, I'm starvin' marvin'." For some reason, that's the most vivid memory I have from the first time we met. It was cute and funny and caught my attention. It truly doesn't make much sense. We tried to "date" around the same time we met. On and off, on and off. Again-- young, reckless, immature. We'd go months without speaking to each other and then start chatting again-- for four years. We knew each other four years before we knew we'd spend the rest of our lives together. Four years because the last time we tried to make things work between us, we both knew. We knew this time was different-- older, wiser, more mature. People doubted us-- friends, family, etc. The same friend that introduced us told me(Sydnee) one day, "I give it two weeks." We both laughed histarically, but I replied with, "I don't know, dude, something is different." Now, eight years later, we say "I do." in a couple short months, weeks.. and then days. Our story continues every single day and we are so thankful to have the people in our lives that we do today.

For all the days along the way
