What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Although the ceremony is scheduled to begin promptly at 3:00 p.m., we kindly ask that guests plan to arrive 15–30 minutes early. This will allow ample time to find parking, select a seat, and get settled before the proceedings begin. Please note that there is a moderate walk from the parking area to the ceremony site. However, a shuttle service will be available and running continuously for those who prefer to ride. We would greatly appreciate your cooperation in arriving early, as it helps to minimize disruptions once the ceremony is underway. In the unfortunate event that you arrive after the ceremony has begun, we respectfully ask that you refrain from entering the ceremony space at that time. Instead, we warmly invite you to join us for cocktail hour and enjoy the remainder of the celebration.

Can I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

We sincerely apologize, but due to space limitations at our venue, we are unable to accommodate additional guests or children. While we absolutely adore all the little ones in our lives and would love for them to be part of our celebration, we have made the difficult decision to host an adults-only event. Our venue—a beautiful waterfront property with expansive grounds and a few animals on-site—requires us to limit attendance to those specifically named on your invitation. All invited guests will also be listed under the RSVP tab for your reference. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you will still be able to join us in celebrating this special occasion.

How & when should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please visit the RSVP tab on our wedding website and enter your name as it appears on your invitation. All guests included in your party will be listed there, and you may indicate whether each person will be attending or unable to attend. Kindly remember to select your meal preferences at the time of your response. We kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted no later than October 18, 2025. Responses received after this date will, unfortunately, be considered a decline, as we are required to provide a final headcount to our vendors shortly thereafter. We greatly appreciate your timely response and look forward to celebrating with you.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is kindly requested. We respectfully ask that guests refrain from wearing any shade of blue. In lieu of traditional wedding customs, the couple has chosen to reserve “something blue” for a select group of loved ones, creating a meaningful visual element known as the “Something Blue Crew.” Additionally, we ask that guests avoid bright or neon colors, as well as white, ivory, or champagne tones—particularly for the ladies—to allow the wedding party to stand out and maintain the intended aesthetic of the day. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and thoughtful cooperation.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, ample parking is available on-site. However, we kindly encourage guests to carpool when possible to help reduce the likelihood of the parking lot reaching full capacity. Please note that spaces closest to the venue entrance will be reserved for the wedding party, event vendors, and the parents and grandparents of the bride and groom. There will be a short shuttle ride from the parking area to the ceremony site. We recommend allowing extra time prior to the start of the ceremony to accommodate both parking and transportation (or walking) to the venue. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will help ensure a smooth arrival experience for all guests.

Do you have a honeymoon fund or wedding registry?

Answer

We are truly honored to have you celebrate with us on our special day. Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. As we are fortunate to already have many of the household items we need, we would be deeply grateful if you would consider contributing to our honeymoon fund. A link to do so can be found under the Registry tab on our website. For those who prefer to give a traditional gift, we have also created a small wedding registry through Amazon, which is likewise linked under the Registry tab. Should you choose to bring a gift to the wedding, there will be a designated gift table and card box available for your convenience. We are sincerely thankful for your generosity and feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such loving and supportive friends and family.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests join us in observing an unplugged ceremony. To help create a more intimate and meaningful experience, we ask that all devices be turned off and put away prior to the start of the ceremony so that everyone may be fully present in the moment with us. A professional photographer will be capturing the ceremony, and we will be sharing the photos and videos with our guests as soon as they become available. That said, our officiant will pause briefly during the ceremony to allow guests a short opportunity to take personal photos. Following that moment, we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be silenced and put away for the remainder of the ceremony. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us preserve the spirit and intimacy of this special occasion.

How will seating work?

Answer

Seating for the ceremony will be open, and guests are welcome to sit wherever they feel most comfortable. However, we kindly ask that the first two rows on either side be reserved for immediate family members. For the reception, we have thoughtfully arranged seating to ensure that guests are placed with familiar faces. A seating chart will be displayed outside the reception area to assist you in finding your assigned table. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to celebrating with you.

Who do I contact the day of the wedding for questions or concerns?

On the day of the wedding, we kindly ask that you refrain from contacting the bride or groom directly, so they may fully enjoy a stress-free and memorable celebration. We encourage you to reach out to another guest you know who is attending, as they may be able to assist you. Rest assured, many of our guests are familiar with the details of the day and will be happy to help. If your questions arise prior to the wedding day, please do not hesitate to contact the bride or groom directly—they would be more than happy to assist you in advance. Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors, featuring partial shade. We recommend that guests monitor the weather forecast in the days leading up to the event to ensure appropriate preparation. The cocktail hour will be held in a flexible setting, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoor grounds or the reception building, which will be open and accessible during this time. This period offers a wonderful opportunity to find your seat, mingle with other guests, enjoy appetizers and refreshments, or partake in yard games. The reception and dinner will be held indoors, providing a comfortable and elegant environment for the evening’s celebrations.

What food will be served at cocktail hour & dinner?

We are delighted to present our guests with a dining experience from Bella Vista Italian Cuisine. During cocktail hour, we will be serving Caprese, a simple yet flavorful Italian salad made with fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and fragrant basil, drizzled with olive oil and occasionally finished with a balsamic glaze. Additionally, an Antipasto platter will be offered—a traditional Italian starter course featuring a carefully selected assortment of cured meats, cheeses, vegetables, and other savory delicacies, served prior to the main meal. For dinner, guests will have the opportunity to choose from three entrée options upon RSVP: Chicken Parmigiana: A classic Italian-American dish consisting of a lightly breaded chicken breast, topped with rich tomato sauce and melted cheese. Sausage, Peppers, and Onions: Tender hot Italian sausage served with sautéed bell peppers and onions, simmered in a flavorful sauce, and finished with provolone and mozzarella cheeses. Salmon Oreganata: Fillets topped with a seasoned breadcrumb mixture, including oregano, garlic, and lemon, baked to a golden perfection. Dinner will also include Bella Vista’s house salad and freshly baked Focaccia Bread, an artisan sourdough focaccia crafted daily. Guests may also select from several side dishes served during dinner, including: Eggplant Rollatini: Thinly sliced, breaded eggplant rolled around a creamy ricotta and Parmesan filling, baked in a savory marinara sauce. Meatballs: Served with ricotta cheese (a favorite of the bride). Cacio e Pepe: A signature pasta dish, typically fettuccine, tossed in a creamy sauce prepared in a hollowed-out imported Pecorino Romano cheese wheel, accented with freshly cracked black pepper. We hope you enjoy this authentic Italian culinary experience as part of our special celebration. Additionally, an authentic cheese wheel will be available for guests wishing to toss their pasta for an added touch of flavor.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we are pleased to offer an open bar for our guests to enjoy throughout the celebration. Upon entering the reception, please help yourself to a glass of champagne from the champagne wall, which will be available for toasts. In addition to a selection of alcoholic beverages, we will also be providing water, lemonade, sweet tea, and a variety of soft drinks. If you plan to drink, we kindly ask that you arrange for a safe means of transportation at the end of the evening—whether by carpooling, using a ride-share service such as Uber or designating a driver. Your safety is very important to us, and we want everyone to return home safely. Thank you for celebrating responsibly!
