Like many others, our story began online. It was the spring of 2020, and Sydney, who had sworn off dating apps, found herself back in her childhood bedroom in California, trying to cope with the strange new world of lockdown. With a mix of boredom and curiosity, she gave it one more shot. Meanwhile, Will was working as an x-ray tech in Denver, navigating the challenges of the pandemic in a very different way. Despite living states apart, something clicked from the moment we matched. What started as casual conversations soon became hours of texting, phone calls, and video chats. For three months, we built a connection that felt so real and deep that it was hard to believe we hadn’t actually met in person yet. When Sydney finally returned to Denver, the moment we met face-to-face felt surreal. It felt like we were reconnecting with someone we had known for years. That sense of familiarity and ease has been with us ever since. Now, as we prepare to celebrate the next chapter of our lives together, we’re so excited to share our story—and our day—with all the people we love most. What started as a pandemic match has turned into the love of a lifetime, and we can’t wait for the adventures ahead.
