Where is the wedding being hosted?
Answer
Both the ceremony & reception are being hosted at an outdoor & open-air venue called Chapel Hill Carriage House (www.chcarriagehouse.com). In the event of rain, the show will go on under the covered barn shelter which can accommodate all of our guests with socially distanced seating.

Where can I view the live stream of the wedding online?
Answer
Visit tinyurl.com/sydandmattwed on April 24, 2021 beginning at 4:15 pm EST - the ceremony will start at 4:30, finish at 5 pm, and then the newlyweds will take a few minutes to thank online guests for attending - the live stream broadcast will end at 5:15 pm

How many people will be at the onsite wedding
Answer
Due to the COVID pandemic and government guidelines, we are limiting the guest count to 50 people.

What steps are being taken to keep guests safe?
Answer
In addition to distanced seating arrangements, adjustable, washable, color-coordinated face masks will be provided for all guests. We ask that they be worn whenever in motion or in restrooms (i.e. worn whenever not seated in assigned seats or eating and drinking). We're also providing each of our guests with a personal-sized bottle of hand sanitizer to use at their discretion.

What are vendors doing to keep guests safe?
Answer
All of our vendors (caterers, entertainment, planners, etc.) have agreed to keep their distance and wear face masks; catering staff will also wear gloves while serving food.

What to do if you still feel unsure or unsafe attending Sydney & Matthew's wedding?
Answer
Live, online streaming of the ceremony will be provided as an alternative attendance option. Please see which options are available to you under the "RSVP" tab above. If you elect to attend the online format, simply check back on the day and time of the wedding under the "Schedule" tab to view the live stream.

What should I wear?
Answer
You will see guidance on what to wear when you submit your name on the RSVP page, but as a general rule, we're requesting that guests wear Garden Attire. This consists of sundresses, floral prints, flowy gowns, 2 or 3-piece suits in hues like beige, khaki, green, brown, blue & navy. We also encourage fun hats, ties, bowties, hair accessories, and fascinators! Our wedding is rustic chic themed and features spring-forward shades of light blue, papaya, peach, sage green, and pastel yellow with gold accents. What if I really want to attend in person, but can't due to COVID?
Answer
Don't worry - we get it! We've taken every step we can think of to keep you safe, but definitely respect you doing whatever helps you feel most comfortable, even if that means staying home. That being said, as mentioned above, you can attend virtually but if you're really wanting to get that in-person experience, rest assured we are hoping to have a follow-up anniversary party sometime in 2022. Whenever it is, it will be after the pandemic is good and under control with vaccines widely available and administered, and when everyone feels safe to travel and gather again. Bottom line, if you miss it this time around, there will be more opportunities to party with us in the future! 🎉
