Syd and Matt met in high school through mutual friends. The first time Matt texted Syd was in August 2012 (after soccer try outs were over of course), and there has not been a day since that they haven't spoken! Their first date was at a Red Robin. Matt ordered fish sticks, and Syd thought it was kinda weird, but luckily his personality made up for it. After their first date they both knew they wanted to see each other again, and the rest is history! Matt asked Syd to be his girlfriend on October 13, 2012, who knew 12 years (and 1 week) later they would be getting married!
