Train
We've taken Amtrak many times to get to Newport - it's a great option for those traveling from the NYC, DC, or Boston areas. The best station for your arrival is the Kingston Station (KIN) in Kingston, RI. From there, it's about a 30-minute drive to get to downtown Newport. Please note that ride-share apps are limited in this area so be sure to plan or request a ride ahead!
Flight
For those traveling from out west, Boston is your best option for a direct flight into the area. Depending on the time of day, the drive is between 1 - 2 hours from Boston, MA to Newport, RI. We'd suggest either renting a car, using a ride-share app, or using Boston Coach car services to get into town. If you are travelling solo and looking for a buddy from BOS airport to Newport, please let us know and we'll put you in touch with other guests making the same trip!
Flight
For those on the east coast, Providence will be the easiest airport to fly into. From PVD airport, ride-share apps and rental cars are available as needed. PVD airport is about a 30 - 45 minute drive to downtown Newport. There is also a ferry that operates between Providence and Newport if you are up for the adventure! West Coasters - if you are able to snag a direct flight to Providence, this is also a great option for you!
