Flight
EasyJet, Ryanair, British Airways and Aer Lingus all operate regular flights from Dublin, Manchester and London (all airports) to Bordeaux airport. The Chateau is approximately 30 minutes drive from Bordeaux airport. You can also travel with Jet2 from Manchester Airport to Bergerac Airport. From there, it's approximately a one hour drive. The benefit of this option is that you drive down one of the main wine routes in the region. Uber and other taxi firms are available from the airports, along with car hire to give you flexibility over the weekend.
Travel Note
There is a local bus service from Bordeaux Airport to the centre of town. The service number to look out for is the no. 1 and it's scheduled regularly, departing from just outside the airport. The cost is €1.50 per person.
