Best Man
Lil’ Bro. Always been the crazy one that keeps us laughing in the family. We may be complete opposites as he's always been the adventurous and thrill seeking one but we love talking about shoes, cars, and reminiscing over the best Vines. He is the hardest worker and the smartest person I know and he has never failed to make us proud. There is no better choice than my little brother and first life-long friend to be my best man (Just don't show up to the wedding in Yeezy's...)
Matron of Honor
Big sister and without a doubt, the best matron of honor a bride can have. Always my person to turn to and my built in best friend. We are opposites from the outside but also the same at the core. She has been my role model from the day I was born, and I would always be excited to have my big sister walk me home from school or play dress up with me. She is my person to try new foods and travel with, and my person who I can always count on for a much needed girls’ day filled with shopping and sushi.
Groomsman
My first friend since moving to Pearland in middle school. We grew from all the days of playing ball at the neighborhood courts, to introducing me to different types of "atypical" food in Chinatown, and through all the countless pranks he's pulled on me. He's the co-planner for trips and many happy hours and is the glue that keeps our friend circle together. Little did I know at our first meeting 18 years ago in that 5th grade class, that he would be one of the groomsmen standing by my side at my wedding.
Bridesmaid
My cousin who is pretty much my twin and former roommate all in one. We’ve bugged each other from the day I was born and continue to goof around together like we’re still 10 years old even to this day (in fact, there was a hole in the wall of our apartment to prove it). She is always a voice of reason when I am making decisions but also is one of my greatest adventure partners - and when I say adventure partners, that also includes sliding around our kitchen floor in fuzzy socks eating cinnamon chips.
Groomsman
My brotha from another motha', but seriously we share the same birthday! Gavin is the most likely to show up at my doorstep (with or without an invite) to chill for a weekend filled with plenty of video games, great food, and deep conversations. He's the kindest man I know and will give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. If you're looking for him at the reception, he'll definitely be found showing off his moves in the middle of the dance floor!
Bridesmaid
My small group leader turned best friend - she is one of the most reliable and selfless people I know. From our annual girls trips filled with highly detailed (hour by hour) itineraries and pretty much spending all of every summer together, we are pretty much inseparable. She is the friend who will bake while I'm over and let me eat the ingredients of whatever she is making before she is done. She is also the person who I can call at midnight (even though she goes to sleep at like 10) to talk through my midlife crisis.
Groomsman
Nick is our green eye'd short-tempered video game guru. He's helped sustain the friendships within our group of friends all the way from high school through our Friday late-night video game sessions every week. (Just know that if you mess up in COD though, you'll get an earful at 2AM in the morning). He's also the one out of our group to be the most likely to keep us out of trouble and I sure know we appreciate him for that!
Bridesmaid
My college best friend and former roommate who I would not have survived 4 years in Cleveland without. She’d always know when I needed a pick me up and would show up with Flaming Hot Cheetos and a box of Ferrero Rochers. From our spontaneous adventures to nights spent talking endlessly, many of my favorite college memories were with her. I like to describe our friendship as my friend who would convince me to go bungee jumping but would then be there to catch me at the bottom.
Groomsman
Forever will be known as the man who introduced me to kosher salt after roasting me for using Morton's. He's a great chef who can whip up a mean bolognese that the guys always talk about. Ivan is also as tech-savvy as it comes since he's saved many of my poor electronics from an untimely death. Ivan and I grew up through the same high-school, college, and church so we've known each other most of our lives and I am grateful for it.
Bridesmaid
The one who has the best taste in music and the best dance moves. She is always down for anything – from hanging out in the Wendy’s parking lot to buying tickets to see Chance the Rapper an hour before the concert. She’s one of those friends who may not be the sappiest but is the most loyal. She has stood by me through some of my most embarrassing moments (although I was never sure if she was laughing with me or at me), and she is one of those friends who you know she has your back no matter what.
Groomsman
William was one of the first friend's I made after moving to Pearland because we shared the same bus stop! He lived just a couple houses down from me and was the central hub for all the guys to meet at to play basketball, video games, board games, or just chill. When we aren't trying to retire by making sense of the stock market, we often have many hilarious work stories to share since we are both pharmacists.
Bridesmaid
The sweetest person you’ll ever meet. We have the best time goofing around together no matter where we are whether it be in a neighborhood park or lost on a forest preserve trail. She is known to mess up my hair in every picture we're in together because of her need to grab my hair while she also holds my hand, but I now see it as just a way she shows me how much loves me. From always being there to pray with me to always checking in on me, she has always been my confidant.
Groomsman
Renji is Reeny’s cousin who has essentially been her protective brother growing up. I was really nervous to meet him, but when we met up for lunch we instantly hit it off over cars, stocks, good food, and just life in general. We ended up hanging out for hours because we had so much to talk about. From then on, Renji was not only an integral part of Reeny’s family but an important part of mine as well.
Bridesmaid
My cheese loving, bachelor watching, sorority “big” who I continue to rely on to this day. From sitting on her bedroom floor in Cleveland while she was trying to go to sleep, to sleepovers in Chicago with grilled cheeses from Cheesies, we have been through so much together. She is the one who always checked in on my faith during college and was the one who always called me out when I needed it (even if it was just because I was being too sappy and she is absolutely not as emotional).
Groomsman
RyRaj and I should probably start a travel agency with how much we hype ourselves up as being the best trip planners. We love planning trips to get the guys together with three simple tools. A word document, Yelp reviews, and GroupMe. Growing up in the church together, he's always been the one to attack you every Sunday with a big 'HEY!!!!' and some corny joke and he never fails to check in on everyone and keep all our friendships strong.
Bridesmaid
The absolute biggest goofball I’ve ever met. I never fail to have a good time with her no matter what we’re doing – whether it be eating Taco Bell on her bedroom floor in our sorority house or it be some spontaneous adventure around Chicago. She is one of the most insightful people I know and is the kind of person who will get to a reservation early so that she can read up on the news and tell you about the latest happenings. She has always been one of those people who is cheering me on no matter what.
Groomsman
If Ryan and I were to start the above mentioned travel agency, this man would be the president and CEO. He literally has a google doc for any major city that you want to travel to in the US with an hour-by-hour itinerary of things to do and places to eat. Growing up playing basketball at church together, Dale probably broken each of our ankles and humiliated us in countless pick-up games. Over the years, we have grown to love hunting for the most instagrammable happy hours and the best food and drinks in Houston.
Bridesmaid
We grew up as family friends but what really sparked our friendship was when we both lived in Cleveland. She is one of the most thoughtful people I know, and also one of those people who is always down to try new things. She can also always be relied on to find the nifties hacks and most delicious recipes on Pinterest. We spent many nights having sleepovers and trying new spots in Cleveland to the point where I virtually unofficially lived with her for a short period of time.
Groomsman
Ronen is hands down the funniest guy I know and could give Dave Chappelle a run for his money. He's always been the one to come up with the funniest sayings that somehow catches on and starts being part our our daily lingo ('It be your own.."). No matter how long it may be between when we get to hang out, every time we do it is always a blast and the time just flies by. He's always the crowd favorite and is definitely is the reason I'm sure this bridal party will never have a dull moment.
Bridesmaid
The biggest sugartooth you'll ever meet - I think my first memory with her was when I was in elementary school and I offered her some candy that my mom gave me in our church basement. Now one of my favorite memories with her consists of having deep life conversations over a bowl of ramen. She might be one of the worst texters I know, but she is one of the best listeners I know. She's someone who is warm-hearted but who is never afraid to tell you how it is.
