Our story is one of chance encounters, happy coincidences, and lots of hard work. We met in New York at a bar on the Lower East Side, only to find out we lived in the same building almost 90 blocks north. It was by chance that we met on the street about a week later, and Josh offered his arm for a chat as he walked to get a hair cut. A quick friendship gradually grew into something more and we couldn't be happier to begin the next chapter of our lives together.

After a lovely dinner at Latour in Ridgewood, NJ, we arrived back at our apartment in Hoboken. Just having walked in the door, I was not expecting what came next! Josh directed our dog, Cyrus, to sit next to me and I knelt down to give him some love. When I looked up, Josh was next to us down on one knee. "I was wondering if you would marry me?" never sounded so sweet. We can't wait to celebrate with you. See you on the North Shore!
