It all started in the A-break room at BWI back in 2016… As soon as Sy saw Ationna, he knew he wanted to marry her. He walked over while she was sitting with friends and introduced himself. Not much happened until it was time to clock out. On the shuttle ride back to the employee parking lot, Sy took Ationna’s phone and added his number to her contact list. Ationna didn’t have much intention of using it—until about five minutes later when she got to her brown Honda coupe and the battery wouldn’t start. Now, she had every reason to text Sy and ask him for a jumpstart. Less than a minute later, he drove over in his brown Honda hatchback—a coincidence Ationna couldn’t ignore. From that moment on, the two became the best of friends while working as ramp agents at BWI. They worked together, had lunch together, and even cleaned waste from airplanes together. Yeah, you read that right. During that time, the two grew incredibly close, always having lunch together, loading planes together and riding around in the lavatory truck. But just being together was what made it all worthwhile. Months passed, and they started hanging out outside of work. Their first so-called date was at a laundromat in East Baltimore, where Ationna lived. Sy was determined to see her and gladly accepted her invitation to hang out while she did her laundry. This was when Ationna knew for sure that Sy loved her—because he drove 30 minutes in that same brown Honda hatchback, navigating the treacherous terrain of potholes and craters known as the streets of Baltimore City. Over time, their friendship deepened, and they realized how perfect they were for each other. They then decided that no one else mattered, and they officially started dating on January 12, 2017. Since then, they have been inseparable. This couple has shown each other what it truly means to love deeply. They understand the definition of unconditional love. Like any other couple, they have had their ups and downs, their on-and-off moments. But the love and connection they share—the kind you can only have with your soulmate—is what always brings them back together. They have learned to forgive, to show grace, and to grow together into the best versions of themselves. This celebration of love and matrimony will be like no other, as the lovely couple is surrounded by a village of friends and family who have supported and loved them from the very beginning. Over the years, they have inherited a community of amazing people who have all become family. The couple is overjoyed to share their love with all of you. This next chapter will be full of laughter, adventure, and endless love.
