Moorea and Tahiti to discover by yourself
We have prepared ones of our favourite places to go by scooter or car You can easily spend 4-5 days in Moorea. Not more than 2 days to visit Tahiti is recommended if you are in a rush.
Mont Rotui hiking
Located just behind Fare Maheata pension, probably the best hike of Moorea. To reach the summit you need to be intermediate level (6-8 hours round-trip) but you can stop anytime during the hike. Most of the hike is relatively gentle but it is a long one, with last part walking on a narrow edge. Beautiful view all the way !
Discover another archipelago
You probably realized by now that coming to French Polynesia is really not cheap. But since you come from a long way, it would be a shame to not enjoy your time to visit another island. For very different view and top class diving: Tuamotu archipelago is recommended (ie. Rangiroa, Fakarava, Tikehau) For luxurious and beautiful beaches: Bora-Bora is a no brainer
E-bike Moorea - electric bicycle
Cycling around Moorea is a fun way to discover the island. The entire loop is 60km which can be easily done with an electric bicycle.
Shop for black pearl
One of the famous things to buy: Tahitian black pearl. You can find it in numerous shops in Moorea and hotels. Most of them are located in Maharepa district.
