There are two pick-up/drop-off locations: 1. The Best Western | Pickup begins at 3:00 pm | 1108 E Marina Dr, Hood River, OR 97031 2. The Hood River Hotel | Pickup begins at 3:10 pm | 102 Oak St, Hood River, OR 97031 After the wedding, the shuttles will begin again at 9:00 pm and take guests to the after-party and/or pick-up locations.

What about COVID-19?

Although the COVID-19 crisis has created much uncertainty, as of now, we will be proceeding with our wedding in June 2021. We will be watching CDC guildelines and will keep you informed if anything should change. We are hopeful we will be able to celebrate with you all. Please continue to check out our website for updates.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

In Hood River during June, the weather can be variable so it is important to check before traveling. Typically it is in the mid 70's but apparently it's looking to be in the mid 80s in afternoon + cool down to 50s in the eve. Hood River is also known to be very windy-we suggest bringing a jacket for the cool evenings.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors - the ceremony will be uncovered and the reception will be partially covered.

Where should guests park?

Answer

We have arranged a shuttle from downtown Hood River to pick up and drop off guests at the Best Western and The Hood River Hotel. There is parking onsite at The Orchard, though it's limited, so please carpool if necessary.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Per the guest limit at our venue, we are limited on how many we can have attend. If your RSVP says “and Guest,” then yes. We will do our best to accomdate-so please reach out if you have a guest you'd like to bring!

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off

Will the bride and groom be staying in Hood River for the weekend?

Answer

YES! We will be in Hood River starting Thursday 6/17 through Sunday 6/20. Please let us know if you will be around. We'd love to continue the celebration with you on Saturday if you're free!

When should I book lodging?

Answer

ASAP - We HIGHLY recommend nailing down your lodging by February (or March at the very latest) to assure you have a nice place to stay nearby. Lodging can book up by April for the rest of the year. Booking.com allows you to book without putting any money down until the day of, so it could be a great option if you're on the fence.
