Brian and Jordan met the old fashioned way, on Match.com. Brian messaged Jordan in February 2021 commenting that it was cool to meet another New York Sports fan living in PA. Jordan was in Virginia Beach at the time visiting her dad and step-mom, which also led to an instant connection because one of Brian's best friends lives there. On March 9, Brian and Jordan were texting about Jordan having a rough couple days at work. Brian replied that if Jordan was hungry or thirsty, he would love to take her out for food or drinks. Jordan said yes and found out later that Brian fibbed about how far away he lived from her work and rushed around to get there. A few days later, Brian said he was going to grill and have a fire and asked if Jordan wanted to come over. She again said yes and left Brian scrambling to go to the grocery store and clean. Brian quickly learned that he can't offer something unless he is prepared for Jordan to take him up on it which luckily he doesn't seem to mind. In March 2022, Brian asked Jordan (and of course her two fur babies) to move in. Then in November 2023, Brian and Jordan got engaged when they were in Charleston for Brian to attend training for work. Charleston is a special place for them since Brian has had to go a few times and Jordan tries to accompany when she can. Brian and Jordan spent the day going to the aquarium and walking down Rainbow Row. They then went back to their hotel room to relax before dinner. Jordan commented she needed to start getting ready, when Brian said he had something he wanted Jordan to wear for dinner. He took out the ring box and asked Jordan to marry him. Brian says Jordan kept asking "what is that?!" before she of course said "Yes!".
