It all started in 2015, when young Austin laid his eyes on Morgan. Austin had been working at the movie theater for quite some time, and Morgan was just joining the team. Being new at the theater, Morgan needed training, and at times, Austin was assigned to take on the task of teaching her how to pop popcorn and clean theaters. After awhile, Austin became Morgan’s favorite co-worker, primarily because of the way he told her stories and constantly offered to clean the popcorn popper when she didn’t want to. Eventually, they both attended Missouri State University (what a coincidence!) After a crazy first year for Morgan, and an exciting second year for Austin, both of their paths kept aligning. No matter how long they went without seeing each other, they always picked up right where they left off. For some reason, Morgan always popped up in Austin’s mind- and for that reason, he decided to ask her to his Fraternity formal! Morgan was ecstatic to hear that he wanted to go to formal with her, however, she didn’t know if it was as friends, or as an actual “date-date.” So, naturally, she forced one of her friends to go to formal with her. After a weekend of laughs and trying to feel each other out, Morgan felt that Austin was not interested in her... but, little did she know, she was wrong! The summer months passed by, and both Austin and Morgan frequently thought of each other and remembered the times they shared together. As Autumn approached, Austin decided to take a chance and ask Morgan on a date. The date went so well, they decided to keep going on dates. Austin and Morgan value each other, and challenge each other to become more Christ-like each day. With Jesus as their center, they recognize their relationship with God as the foundation. They knew their relationship was something special, so, on October 24, 2020, Austin got down on one knee and asked Morgan to marry him. Of course, Morgan said yes to the boy she fell in love with from the movie theater!
