Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

"Cocktail attire" is, I guess, the proper term. Cute dresses, pants, button ups, etc. Suits and ties and fanciness are not required, but fancier than jeans and tshirts.

Is the venue ADA compliant?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. There are 20 stairs from the door to where the party will be, and there isn't an elevator, lift, or ramp. There are sturdy railings on each side of the stairs. The bathroom is on the same floor as where the reception will be held, so the stairs only need to be traversed when arriving and leaving.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

Answer

No. Both will need to be done outside. This is a historic site from the 1800s. Please do not vape in it. :(

Kids?

Answer

While we definitely encourage our friends and family who are parents to come enjoy a night on their own, children are welcome. Please make sure to list on the RSVP if children are included, so we can get an accurate headcount.

Where can we park?

Answer

There is a lot directly next to the venue, as well as a field, behind. There is also street parking and small public lots down the street. We do ask to please leave the lot directly next to the venue for older guests. Please DO NOT Park in the lot for Small Parts Machine across the street from the venue. According to the coordinator, the owner is very mean and WILL tow you even though the company is closed, just on some kind of weird principle. I can't add an image here, for some reason, but I made a whole new page that is just called Parking so there is a map, there. Here is what the venue recently provided, re parking: "Parking: If our parking lot is full, please try to use the street parking or public parking lots on Main, Mercer, Wood & Spring Streets. There is ample parking within a block or two of all of Harmony. There is additional parking for the Center of Harmony behind the Greenhouse and buildings on Aster Lane. You can access Aster Lane in front of the Harmony Inn, look for the white parking sign, or the lane is 2 doors down from the Center. You can park along the building or in the yard between the signs. The public lot behind the Weavers Cabin is also a good spot. Please ask your guests to NOT park across the street in the Salon and Emporium's parking lot. That is their business lot and we try to be good neighbors. Do not park in the Small Parts Machine Lot, they will have you towed or ticketed.""

Dietary restrictions?

Answer

Most everything will be gluten, and both-tree-and-peanut free (we haven't decided yet if we're doing a cookie table. If we do, those will not be gluten free). We'll also be providing a vegan option for the taco bar. If you have any dietary concerns or allergies, please let me know.
