It all started with a Hinge match on January 17, 2023. From our very first conversations, something just clicked. It felt surprisingly natural, like we'd known each other far longer than a few days. After talking for a bit through chat, we met for our first date on January 22nd. What was supposed to be simple turned into hours of effortless conversation, and from that night on, we didn't stop talking. By February 2nd, at the Liberty Science Center, Eric asked Anne to be his girlfriend while overlooking New York City and the Statue of Liberty, a nod to our shared love of history and a view that would become a special part of our story. Two years later, on October 2, 2025, Eric proposed with the skyline and Lady Liberty behind us once again.
