Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

UK wedding: We kindly asks guests to arrive at 11:45am on August 30th so the ceremony can begin at 12:00pm.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

As you can imagine, hosting 2 weddings in different countries can make gift giving a challenge. While your presence is a gift enough, any monetary gifts (preferred) can be delivered in person at the wedding, or be allocated towards specific funds on our 'Wedding Shop UK' tab in our registry. If you'd prefer to gift a physical item, please check out our John Lewis Registry (available after Aug 12th). Alternatively, we'd be honored if you donated to Macmillan Cancer Support in our name- a UK cancer charity dear to Swinney and I's hearts (link found in registry tab). Please feel free to email us at swinneyfamily2018@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is recommended. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white/ivory out of respect to the bride.

Question

What about parking?

Answer

For Service: Parking is available at St Mary of Charity Primary School, Orchard Pl, Faversham ME13 8AP which is located directly next to the church. Directions: From the school enterance turn right on Orchard Place which continued round a left had turn. Turn right on East Street and then right on church road which the church is at the end of. Mount Ephraim Gardens, UK: There is sufficient parking at the reception venue. Parking spaces will be obvious on the day.

Question

What about public transport?

Answer

Faversham, UK: Both the Bus and Train are more than feasible for the ceremony. All 3 route Buses and any other route that comes through Faversham are just a short walk to the church from either the Faversham Library or Court Street. Both of these stops are less than 5 minutes from the church. From the Faversham train station it is around a 10 to 15 minute walk to the church. Mount Ephraim Gardens, UK: Public transport is very limited to reception, we advise those with travelling difficulties to contact someone who can share a lift with you or contact us directly if you expect you'll need transportation assistance as you begin making your travel plans.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

To maintain an intimate ceremony/reception of close family and friends, we kindly ask that you refer to your Save the Date/ Invitation to see if 'and guest' is listed.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please contact us at swinneyfamily2018@gmail.com for any special dietary needs before August 17th, 2018.
