Clark will be joining us in spirit. We miss you dearly. Although no longer here in form, you are always with us in spirit. Whether sitting with Kyra in the living room talking intellectually about the world. Or putting a massive doe in front of Spencer during hunting season. We know you’d be proud of how far we’ve come.
Michelle Swinehart
Mother of the Groom
Michelle instilled in spencer his love of the outdoors, continually taking him out of school for a long weekend escape to the mountains or desert. She taught spencer to cook at a young age and spencer attributes his work ethic and tenacity to her. Michelle and Kyra have become close confidants. Supporting each other in big life choices and always offering a hand to the other, either through swapping recipes, clothes shopping, or simply lending an ear to each other on a bad day. Spencer is grateful for everything his mother has taught him over the years, from dancing to chopping firewood she is an incredible woman and the strongest woman Spencer has ever known. He is proud to call her mom.
Matthew Burgess
Father of the Bride
Matthew, or Matt, is a man very difficult to describe in a few short words. For those lucky enough to know him, they know that he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. This goes for both Spencer and Kyra. Obviously, Matt has always been Kyra's hero, but he has also been someone to speak to when it seems like nothing in the world really makes any sense. He has also been more than happy to try to teach both Spencer and Kyra how to do things around the house and auto shop, even if they have to be shown a few times.
Kimberly Burgess
Mother of the Bride
Kim is someone who has always welcomed whichever stragglers her two daughters brought home. From friends, to kids, to boyfriends and eventually fiancés, Kim has always made sure to put others before herself. Her sense of selflessness and soul that she brings to the Burgess family is something that Kyra hopes to bring into the family she is building with Spencer. From Spencer, Kim has always made him feel included and loved, much like a second mother. Always making sure he was fed and then some. Continually chastising Spencer when he askes to have a water from the fridge or takes his work boots off before entering the house, she always includes him as apart of their family like a son at every dinner, any event and gathering. Spencer is eternally grateful for everything she has done for him.
William Swinehart
Best Man
William is Spencer's brother. One of the smartest people I know. My brother has helped me out a lot in life. Not always friends in the beginning but always brothers. We’d spar constantly as boys and trained hard together in the gym when I was in high school. He’s an outstanding father and a religious practitioner of Brazilian jiu jitsu, he’s taught me a lot over the years and we learn from each other still.
Chase Burgess
Maid of Honor
Chase is Kyra's younger sister, who is engaged to be married to one of the flower men/beer boys: Nathaniel Cooley. When not volunteering her time to assistant coach Kyra's JV Basketball team, Chase works full time as a veterinary technician. Chase often can be heard saying that she likes animals more than most people, and that is the truth! However, once you get past that sunshine, you will find that Chase has a very thoughtful and considerate heart. Her world revolves around her four furbabies, Raylon, Maxwell, Bizkit, and Dobby.
Ryan Brown
Best Man
Spencer and Ryan met at Sea Cadets and have been brothers ever since. Conjoined through suffering in the mountains of Colorado, Or meandering with purpose through many back country bush. Ryan has been spencer’s best friend and brother for many years. A tenacious and intelligent man and a compassionate and supportive friend, Ryan is apart of our family.
Tara Brown
Maid of Honor
Tara and Kyra met during their Freshmen year at St. Bonaventure University. Their friendship quickly grew and they became roommates and attached at the hip. Since graduation, they talk almost daily and support one another's growth. Tara was one of the few present for the proposal. Over the course of her life, Tara has accomplished a great many things. They all revolve around supporting and improving services for students within her hometown, specifically students with alternative needs.
Bennett Savino
Groomsman
Ben is the kinda guy you just instantly love. His massive heart and Incredibly talent are only part of what makes him an incredible man. We are extremely proud of Ben as we’ve watched him grow in his career as an artist. Spencer’s skin along with many others are adorned with Ben Savino original pieces. Something spencer is very proud to tell people when they ask about his tattoos. Ben welcomed Kyra with open arms when spencer first brought her to the Greece house and they’ve been family ever since.
Megan Savino
Bridesmaid
Megan is Spencer's cousin and a dear friend to Kyra. Since Spencer and Kyra started dating, Meg has welcomed them both to her home and filled many evenings with love and laughter. She not only helped Kyra feel comfortable, but part of the family instantly. When the two of them get together, giggles and laughter ensue. From meg: I have a hard time picking a favorite memory of Spencer and Kyra, because there’s so many. This also isn’t as much of a memory, as it is something I am beyond grateful for about these two. They’re willingness to support Ramon (my son). Always. No matter what field; music, theatre, sports, anything. Taking the time to teach him new things and listen to what may be going on in his world. Trying to give him advice when it’s needed. Definitely taken on more of an uncle and aunt role. I am forever grateful.
Sean Dickie
Groomsman
Friend of the groom and Will’s best friend. Spencer met Sean when Sean and Will were still in the Army. A rock solid dude, Sean is a determined and compassionate person with a ludicrous knowledge of all things relating tanks. Always willing to talk gear and guns with spencer. Kyra can find Sean, Will, Ryan and spencer arguing camouflage, military history and martial arts at any given time of day. Spencer is forever thankful for the friendship Sean has with Will and in such, calls him brother.

Bridesmaid
Ashlee is Kyra's cousin. They have been planning their "big days" together since they were little. Kyra was also a Bridesmaid in Ashlee's wedding to her husband, Justin.
Anthony Plyter
Groomsman
Anthony, aka AJ, is Spencer's cousin. AJ and Spencer have always been close. Not just close in age but more like brothers than cousins. Spencer fondly remembers walking through the woods between grandma Bev’s and his house in Williamson when they weren’t supposed to as kids. AJ and Kyra have got along like long lost friends from the start. We are always happy to see him and his young children and are extremely proud of the father he’s become.
Nicole Kimber
Bridesmaid
Nicole, aka Nikki, is Spencer's cousin. Nikki has been a close friend to both Spencer and Kyra over the past several years and always knows how to laugh. Her heart and generosity are something that both Spencer and Kyra have always admired, and both strive to be more like Nikki in that aspect. From Nikki: I can't pick a favorite memory that I have with Kyra and Spencer because we have had so many fun times together! Whenever we see them we always have a good time. From family gatherings, camping, and late night hanging out, to the next day doing crafts and playing with our girls. Being able to just stop and say hi or our 3+ hour phone calls! They are always willing to help out when and where they can. They are both very thoughtful people and I can't wait to see where life takes them!

Jonathon, aka Jon, is Kyra's cousin. At family gatherings, Spencer and Jon tend to cling to each other for support (or in terror) as they are surrounded by mostly female family members.
Rilee Crandall
Bridesmaid
Rilee and Kyra have known each other since Rilee was born and consider one another family. “Ri-Bug” is the 3rd member of the tattoo crew. When together, they often can be found dancing around a campfire, porch sitting, or general participation in shenanigans and malarkey. Ri's favorite memory: While up at the pond with the side by sides, we had the music playing through the stereos. We were all dancing and Temperature, by Sean Paul came on. Everyone doubled up, and watching Spencer and Kyra dancing together was so adorable. I loved watching the two of them together!
Trevor Shotwell
Groomsman
Trevor and spencer share a love of hunting, training and the outdoors. Trevor and spencer first met at camp and instantly hit it off with a shared love for special operations history and books. Trevor is a big bow hunter and has competed in many 3D matches across the western states. He now resides in the beautiful state of Wyoming with his girlfriend and Kyra’s bridesmaid Kirstin.
Kirstin George
Bridesmaid
Kirstin and Kyra grew up together, and “Turtle” is the 4th member of the tattoo crew. They have been there for one another through the good times, the bad times, and the crazy ones. They have shared many laughs around a campfire, in the mud, and around the crafting table. When these two are together, it is hard not to laugh about something as silly as the word, "almond." Kirstin’s sense of adventure and wild heart knows no bounds, and her friendship, even across the distance, means the world to both Spencer and Kyra.
