We’re so excited to celebrate with you! If you’ve received a Save the Date, we’re thrilled—but just a heads-up: online RSVPs will open once formal invitations are sent out a little later. Stay tuned!
The short answer is: a lot of fun! The ceremony will include a few short blessings, a few sips of wine, a ring exchange, a few more blessings, and stepping on a glass. Then, on to the party! The reception will include dinner, toasts, dancing, cake, and all of the usual things you associate with weddings. One thing to look forward to is the Hora, where everyone dances in a circle and the bride and groom are lifted into the air on chairs! There will also be programs provided explaining the order of operations, for anyone who isn't familiar with the process ♡
The short answer is to wear what you're comfortable in. The long answer is that the dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Men, regardless of religious beliefs, may choose to cover their heads with a kippah during the ceremony as a respectful gesture towards the Jewish traditions. A kippah, or yarmulke, is a Jewish head covering traditionally worn by men during ceremony and prayer. There will be kippot provided for guests to wear and take home as a memento if they wish ♡
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we respectfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the formal invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
