Royal Palace of La Almudaina
The Royal Palace of La Almudaina, which dates back to the 14th century, is the official residence of the King and Queen during their stays in Mallorca. Together with the Cathedral of Palma it is a landmark of the capital of the Balearic Islands. The palace reflects the artistic styles that have succeeded each other throughout the history of the island. Puerto Portals
In the middle of the bay of Palma de Mallorca, Puerto Portals opens up to the sea as the most prestigious nautical and leisure complex in the Mediterranean. Located just 7 km (14 min) from Nixe Palace Hotel, the marina has 650 moorings ranging from 8 to 60 metres in length and an exclusive shopping area with a wide variety of quality complementary services: restaurants, bars, fashion boutiques, nautical companies, jewellery shops, perfume shops and estate agents, among other services.
Deià, Sóller & Valldemossa
Deià is the crown jewel of Mallorca, known for its cliffside ocean views, gallery-filled mountain town, and history of attracting artists, poets, and celebrities. The famous La Residencia, a Belmond Hotel is located in Deià. It is located approximately 30 min drive from Palma. We recommend an overnight stay in Deia or Soller. Hotel Gran Soller is a mid range property to stay within reach to both areas. Ca's Patro March, a fish shack down a long, windy road and hanging over turquoise waters. Today, you can reserve your lunch spot in advance online (reservations open up two weeks out) Valldemossa is a charming town and home to Cathusian Monastery. Nearby, in Sóller, rent a boat to travel to Sa Foradada (only accessible by boat or long hike) for delicious paella and one of the most epic views. Serra de Tramuntana Mountains
The Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca, Spain has many good hiking trails, including classic hikes, routes that connect scenic locations, and longer treks.
Plaza Mayor in Palma
A traditional main square which holds markets and fiestas. The square holds an artisan market on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10.00 to 14.00 during most weeks of the year. A number of local festivals are celebrated here with live concerts and group dancing.
Caló des Moro
This tiny stretch of coast along Mallorca’s southern shoreline attracts travelers with its turquoise waters and scenic surroundings. Here, you can snorkel with multicolored fish, spend the day lounging on the white sand, trek the surrounding cliffs around Calo Des Moro or even take a boat tour to discover the other stunning beaches and sights in the area. The beach can get quite busy, especially during summer, so try to get there early if you want to get a good spot. To get there, you'll need to hike a rocky path from the parking lot. Amenities are limited as well, so remember to pack all the food and supplies you need.
